Nivzaq is the person who opened the RM on 5 January 2025 and is thus an involved editor, and should not have closed this RM. Point 1 of WP:RMCI says clearly "Don't close requested moves if you are involved". Secondary reason: Nivzaq's stated reason for the closing decision is "Majority supported move", which is not a summary of Wikipedia policy arguments presented in WP:NOTVOTEs. Reopen to be closed by an uninvolved editor, with a two-part reminder to the closer: (1) do not close an RM, RFC, XFD, or other consensus discussion in which you have become involved; (2) discussion with other editors after a close is optional for the other editors but is not optional for the closer. Speedy reopen You simply do not close discussions you have started unless you are withdrawing them. If I were an admin I'd undo this on the spot. SportingFlyer T·C 17:11, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
