The Pokémon Stadium series is a turn-based strategy RPG video game series developed by Nintendo. It focuses on a series of fictional creatures called Pokémon, who use their special abilities to battle against each other. The series is a spin-off of the mainline Pokémon video game series. The series began in 1998 with the release of Pocket Monsters Stadium, with its most recent release being Pokémon Stadium 2, released in the year 2000.
