OpposeSupport, fixed now. The detail is much better too!
I see some chromatic aberration. The perspective and framing is decent, resolution is good and clarity phenomenal. JayCubby 21:50, 25 April 2025 (UTC)- @JayCubby:
Done. Thank u Wilfredo. ArionStar (talk) 21:34, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- hi Jay, I want I would like to understand where exactly you are still seeing chromatic aberration. In response to your earlier question, I applied a noise reduction filter using Topaz DeNoise, followed by manual chromatic aberration correction in Photoshop. For some reason, when using Topaz DeNoise, the images not only become cleaner but also noticeably sharper, as the software tends to reduce some chromatic aberration during the denoising process itself. All of this happens within the same DeNoise filter. Wilfredor (talk) 22:06, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Wilfredor: I forgot to strike the previous comment. I see no CA now. Topaz, I've found, tends to reinvent details pretty accurately to 'denoise' (It's more than just a simple algorithm. Topaz's unblur feature tends to introduce faces in random objects, for once there's truth to a company claiming AI usage), which would explain the clarity. Thanks again for the fix. - I have never worked with Topaz Unblur, nor have I ever encountered the issue of generating nonexistent details with it. I am aware that this happens with Topaz Gigapixel and Topaz Photo AI, but I had never heard of it occurring with Topaz DeNoise. I do agree that chromatic aberration should be removed during the image processing stage. Wilfredor (talk) 03:26, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
