Vitai Ratanakorn (Thai: วิทัย รัตนากร) is a Thai banker currently serving as President and CEO of the Government Savings Bank.[1][2] In July 2025, he was nominated to serve as the 25th Governor of the Bank of Thailand, effective 1 October 2025.[3][4]

On 22 July 2025, Vitai was named the next Governor, prevailing over Deputy Governor Roong Poshyananda Mallikamas.[3] His nomination is pending royal approval.[3] Vitai is seen as an advocate for interest rate cuts.[5]
