Visitors to Somalia must obtain a visa on arrival in accordance with the law. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months.[1][2][3]
Visa on arrival
[edit]Holders of passports issued by any country can obtain a visa on arrival valid for 30 days at the following airports:[4][5][6]
- Bosaso Airport in Bosaso
- Garowe Airport in Garowe
- Abdullahi Yusuf Airport in Galkayo
- Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu
- Kismayo Airport in Kismayo
eVisa
[edit]All visitors intending to travel to Somalia must have an approved Electronic Visa (eTAS) before the start of their journey.[7]
Admission refused
[edit]Nationals of the Republic of China (Taiwan) are banned from entering and transiting Somalia since 30 April 2025.[8]
