The Vijayakumar family is a prominent Indian family associated with and involved in the Tamil film industry.[1]
Notable members of the family include actor and former politician Vijayakumar, his wife, actress Manjula Vijayakumar; his son, actor Arun Vijay; their daughters, doctor Anitha Vijayakumar, former actress Kavitha Vijayakumar, actress and film director Vanitha Vijayakumar, businesswomen and former actress Preetha Vijayakumar and actress Sridevi Vijaykumar; and Preetha's husband, film director Hari.[2]

[edit]The Vijayakumar family are Indian Tamil Hindu people from Nattuchalai, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India. The family is fluent speaking in Tamil, Telugu and English.[3] The Vijayakumar family also is connected to the Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu through Vijayakumar's son-in-law Hari who hails from the Thoothukudi.[4]
