Vavrečka (Hungarian: Vavrecska) is a village and municipality in Námestovo District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1600.
Geography
[edit]The municipality is at an altitude of 648 metres (2,126 ft) and covers an area of 8.955 square kilometres (3.458 sq mi). It has a population of about 1,620.
