Sandbox

[edit]

Looks at the sandboxes and see a few issues:

  1. Some of the content is copied and pasted from sources
  2. It does not follow WP:MEDMOS and WP:MOS recommendations
  3. We only really use secondary sources per WP:MEDRS rather than primary sources
  4. The APP has specifically told us not to use their definitions in the DSM
  5. There are no inline references

The WikiCookie
You've learned how to use basic wikicode in your sandbox. You can always return there to experiment more.

Introducing myself

[edit]

I work with the Wiki Education Foundation, and help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment. If there's anything I can do to help with your assignment (or, for that matter, any other aspect of Wikipedia) please feel free to drop me a note. Hi there!

You are invited to the event Wikicurious: Rewriting the Canvas on Wikipedia. The event will be taking place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, 5PM to 8PM, at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte, North Carolina. This free event is open to all. It is especially designed for people interested in Black American music and modernist visual art, and for peope who are curious about using Wikipedia to learn about these subjects, about getting started editing Wikipedia, or just meeting other Wikimedians. If you are interested, please sign up on the event page AND on their Eventbrite page.

You received this message because you are on the global message delivery list of the North Carolina Wikipedians, probably because you signed up on our user page or because you attended one of our events. If you would like to remove yourself, please e-mail me or remove your username from our global message delivery list.

Thanks so much -- I hope to see you in Charlotte! -- Gaurav (talk) 14:04, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
