Welcome!
[edit]Hello, WillJarvis sinedigital, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Parcel2Go, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

[edit] Hello, I'm Grayfell. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Parcel2Go have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 10:18, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Greyfell, when updating content for Parcel2Go, it was confirmed with the client to update out of date content and educate readers of the article of Parcel2Go (as seen on my 'user page'). Please could you further explain how the information that was suggested was incorrect as the information uses citations from independent sources.
- These were the updates:
- - Updating the CEO to Paul Doble
- - adding "postage options from different couriers including Evri, Royal Mail and UPS. Parcel2go is currently the UK’s largest courier comparison website offering a wide range of parcel delivery services {3}."
- - Services
- Parcel2Go offer a number of services for sending parcels including:
- - Irish website
- I am happy to learn more and understand how this mistake can be rectified. WillJarvis sinedigital (talk) 10:38, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Who has 'confirmed with he client'? Should I care about that? Wikipedia is a volunteer project, not a platform for promotion.
- I have already posted links which explain these issues. Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide#Advice explains what you should be doing.
- Do not edit articles yourself, use the article's talk page to propose changes.
- When proposing edits, do not add external links directly.
- Do not use vague filler language ("a wide range"). Proposed changes should be falsifiable statements based mostly on independent sources.
- Wikipedia isn't a substitute for the company's own website, so a list of specific services is not appropriate.
