Hello, I've done a lot of research for Wikipedia and I've actually been a contributor for over 5 years, my old account was hacked so this is my new account, and this is the first copyright violation I've gotten within my years volunteering my time for wikipedia. Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. ~~~~ S Philbrick(Talk) 21:10, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

hey @Pythoncoder, I pulled all this info and I did a deep dive from chamber of commerce, BBB and the businesses website as well as reviews from yelp and google. THis was not pulled from a large laungage model and I tried to get as much info as I could! Wiki Operator Bob (talk) 15:20, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Upon further examination, while it does seem possible that you did write the draft yourself, the writing style does feel very LLM-like, because of its frequent use of bold text, lists, and promotional language. In addition, the inclusion of a "Conclusion" section may be suitable when writing an essay, but it is generally not recommended when writing an encyclopedia article. pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 15:41, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Anerdw, this is a brief overview of Southern Table, it's hard to find lots of info because it's a small local business that I would like to bring awareness to on Wikipedia's archives. Wiki Operator Bob (talk) 22:34, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Anerdw Please approve it, I may revise it in the future when more information becomes available. I know wikipedia is a living encyclopedia that changes with time, with lots of edits. Wiki Operator Bob (talk) 22:35, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Unfortunately, Wikipedia’s standards for notability, including for corporations, don’t depend on the size of the business. In order for an article to exist on Wikipedia, it needs to demonstrate that there are multiple reliable sources that provide significant coverage of the subject. If you can find more good sources, add them to the article and resubmit! If no such sources exist, it might just not be notable enough to have an article.
