Images
[edit]Hello. Could you please stop adding worse or older images of subjects to their articles? You removed a 2019 image of Steve Daines in order to add a 2013 and 2015 version. Also, please stop removing captions with the year in which the subject is pictured - see MOS:CAPTION. Thank you. — ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 10:11, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
Sorry
[edit]i will try to be more efficient but I am attempting to update Virg Berneros and Josh Mandels pictures because they are old. Please help me out and please help me find a newer picture of them that is not copyrighted thank you. I changed Bill Haslams picture for the better i believe his old picture was from 2012 and I changed it to a newer one from 2016. I am listening and learning, thank you. - No worries, and thanks for the response. Such is the issue with a lot of people on Wikipedia that there just doesn't appear to be any other photo which isn't copyrighted. The best non-copyrighted image I can find of Bernero is https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:March_24th,_2011_Student_Rally,_Lansing_MI_(01).jpg which is also already included on the image, and I dunno is this a better image than the existing one or not - as much as it's a newer image, it doesn't show his face as clearly as the one in the lead. ser! Thank you.
[edit]Thanks for all your help. I'm still learning and trying to figure this Wikipedia site out.
If you want to help again, could you add an option for 'image caption' on Joe Hecks page and write 'Heck in 2021'
His Wikipedia image is his military portrait which does not have the year (2021) listed on it. I figured it would be helpful for viewers to know the year of the picture, but I don't know how to add the year. Toombaw (talk) 23:32, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
Dave McCormick portrait
[edit]Could you please explain to me (because you left no edit summary like the others) and give a compelling argument why McCormick's alternative portrait which is only 40KB resolution is better to use as a main image compared to his other far more higher res portrait which is 1MB? You do know a jpg image is higher quality than a png right? Putitonamap98 (talk) 19:04, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
