Deleted page

[edit]

Please help me with... Hi! A page of somebody I know was deleted due to lack of sources. Wondering if there's a way to recover it? or at least to view the deleted page so that we can find proper sources for it? It's RE: the co-founder of Secretly Group (umbrella for Secretly Distribution, Secretly Publishing, Secretly Canadian, Jagjaguwar, Dead Oceans) with sister company All Flowers Group - drinksumwtr, Ghostly International. Any help here is much appreciated! tmt (talk) 18:15, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You don't provide the title of the article at issue, I could view it as an admin if I knew the title. 331dot (talk) 19:05, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If you're here as a company employee, you still need to do as Cullen328 asked in September(see above). 331dot (talk) 19:07, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
okay, I updated the disclosure. The page is for Chris Swanson co-founder of Secretly Group tmt (talk) 19:28, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The article was deleted as a result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chris Swanson. That he was named "Indie Power Player" does not contribute to notability; awards must merit articles themselves (like Nobel Peace Prize or Academy Award) to do that. The rest of the draft just documented his work. Any article about him must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about him, showing how he is a notable person.
I would advise you to read WP:BOSS, and have your superiors(him?) read it, too. Nevertheless, if you can address the reasons the article was deleted, you may use the Article Wizard to create and submit a draft. 331dot (talk) 19:49, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
understood, so there's no chance I can see the old wiki page to reference for information when submitting a new draft? tmt (talk) 19:53, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
