Alphabetical order in a Category

Hi, would you happen to know why this category: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Cumann_na_mBan_members contains a name that appears under "B" instead of "O"? The person in question is "Bridie O'Mullane" - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridie_O%27Mullane - and in her article the default sort is listed correctly as "O'Mullane, Bridie". I even changed the apostophe to ensure it is not one of the 'curly' ones. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you Billsmith60 (talk) 12:31, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't looked at the category or article but it sounds like you'll need to add {{DEFAULTSORT:O'Mullane, Bridie}} to her article. The defaultsort template usually appears above the categories in the bottom section of the page. It should mean the article appears correctly on the category page, but I think sometimes you have to refresh your browser for it to work. I hope this helps. Not sure what's happening in that case. I think the best place to ask is WP:HELPDESK. Someone there should hopefully look into why it hasn't worked. This is Paul (talk) 17:34, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
