This edit oversimplifies the release history and presents false information.. The prose in Evermore#Distribution and singles addresses this nuance too. Ippantekina (talk) 16:48, 20 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t think it’s necessary to specifically list the release dates of every release format. WP:INDISCRIMINATE – it doesn’t provide encyclopaedic value to the article. It’s plenty sufficient to simply indicate ”The album received delayed releases on CD, cassette and vinyl LPs in 2020 and 2021.” Every format is just a variation of the same album, with the same packaging, except the two deluxe songs that were eventually released onto streaming. Even more so for evermore, since it doesn’t have alternative cover editions like folklore had. There is also no false information presented in my edit. Actually... it does contain false information. The deluxe was not released for streaming on December 18, for one instance. Per WP:INDISCRIMINATE: To provide encyclopedic value, data should be put in context with explanations referenced to independent sources. The prose does just this, and the current release table, with separate dates for vinyl/CD/streaming/cassette, does not fall into any of the 4 bullet points listed there. Ippantekina (talk) 04:38, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The December 18 date refers to the initial release date of the Deluxe edition… on CD. Hence why CD was listed first in that list of formats. Anyway, since you insist on being the main editor of the article, I have no choice but to let you decide how you want to edit it. I hope you can be less inflexible when collaborating with others in the future. TenthAvenueFreezeOut (talk) 05:31, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Initial release on CD and streaming of the deluxe ed at the same time? I don't "insist" on being the main editor, I'm simply laying out my reasons and asking you: is Dec 18 being the release date for both CD and streaming of the deluxe edition factually correct? Ippantekina (talk) 10:44, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The December 18 date refers to the FIRST official release of the Deluxe edition. Which was when the CD released, and it included the two bonus tracks!!! It is the INITIAL release date of that specific edition of the album.
Then the list states that the Deluxe edition was also released on digital, streaming, cassette and vinyl. HOWEVER, NOWHERE does it imply that all formats were all released on the same day. It says INITIAL release date for a reason. TenthAvenueFreezeOut (talk) 11:59, 21 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
