Exmouth

Hi, I noticed your recent edit to Exmouth [1] where you removed "and Barnstaple alternately" and I was wondering if you could explain the reason for your change. Isn't that statement correct? The trains from Exmouth do run alternately to Paignton and Barnstaple. I didn't want to restore it before checking I'm not missing something (apologies if that is the case). Thanks! @GhostOfNoMan Read the GWR timetable. Most trains from Exmouth run to Paignton, there are only a few late trains that run to Barnstaple. Alternately suggests that they run to both Paignton and Barnstaple with equal frequency, which is not the case now. Techie3 (talk) 01:59, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, my bad. I did briefly check the timetable but I clearly misread – I see now they're not direct trains to Barnstaple, and not at the frequencies I recall from years gone by either. Cheers for explaining. GhostOfNoMan 03:12, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
