Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Swayamvar (Indian TV Show) has been reverted. Your edit here to Swayamvar (Indian TV Show) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiDBLrY1zPs) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original. If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:14, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Commons is a repository of over a million images, we cannot put all of them up just because they are of 'fine quality' or from Commons. There has to be a need for the image and the addition should confirm to MoS. Further, when you do leave a message on somesones talk page, do sign with four tides. Hi. When you recently edited Pandava, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gandhari (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
Hello! You look like someone who might be interested in joining the India WikiProject and so I thought I'd drop you a line and invite you! We'd love to have you help us :-)
You can join any project if you are interested in the topic it covers. If you are interested in India-related articles then you are most welcome to join the project. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛TalkEmail13:49, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi! The purpose of these messages is to let you know when you created a link in an article that points to a "Did you mean..." page, also known as a disambiguation page. For instance, click on this link: Raj Bhavan. I'm guessing that isn't really what you wanted to link to when you added that image to Government Houses of the British Empire and Commonwealth. I took the liberty of fixing it to point to Raj Bhavan (West Bengal), the correct article. I did so with this syntax:
Belated welcome to WikiProject India. Thanks for joining our WikiProject community! I'm a volunteer for the WikiProject and the first guy to approach if you need help! :)
Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.
As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.
If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide.
Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.
You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

In the infobox you have added No. of Seasons as 4. I don't understand how you counted it. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is aired regularly without any lull since July 2008. Please explain.--Vyom25 (talk) 04:25, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I wrote it as number of seasons=4 as it was given in the Tarak Mehta Page in You Tube, which has been made by SET India. And there it ahows as 4 seasons. And i hope that we cannot add an you tube reference hear in wiki. --Jagadhatri২০১২04:28, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
yeah we can't add it as reference because Youtube files are also user generated contents. What does SAB tv and IMDB web sites say they are reliable reference which we can add.--Vyom25 (talk) 05:03, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

OK!! I too had to think whether it will be required or not as it may be useful only to a few selected users. There must be a separate section for awards but not for advertisements they may be written as they have done advertisements for several brands like....so and so. --Jagadhatri(২০১২) 07:37, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
You have almost single handedly created an article on Samta (India), a village and Gram panchayat of Howrah! Thanks for your great contribution and specially for your outstanding images! You deserve this Samata award! Tito Dutta(Send me a message)13:55, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
(edit conflict)It has already been recommended to add IPA scripts in place of Indic scripts, I have added IPA script for "Samta", you can replace all Bengali lang script with IPA scripts! If you need any help on changing to IPA, you can ask me in my talk page!
And, when you are asking to talkback somewhere else (not your talkpage), you can add it like: {{tb|Talk:Samta_(India}} which results:

I have reverted your edits as of now. As said earlier, please feel free to discuss it on the talk page first before you repeat the same edit. Discussing on the talk page will bring your concern to not just me but other editors working on the article and if majority agrees, it'll be posted back. Please state your strong reasons as to why you feel that info is extremely important and how can that help in improving the article. Also please provide reliable sources to your claims. Thanks --Msrag (talk) 11:05, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
As told by other editor, even I suggest you to first keep your calm before you start a discussion anywhere. Your words, "I hope that you have not seen the film" and "So you cannot stop me to add information" etc on my talk page were very strong and would obviously generate a strong response from anyone here. Next, as said by me on Kahaani's talk page, I suggest you try focus on the bigger issues rather than minute things. There's a big list there of the things to be done on the article. It would be of great help if you can expand the article in that sense and on those points. You must have heard of a saying that sometimes "killing an ant may take more time than shooting an elephant". Similarly dont waste your time here in resolving such small issues and try seeing the big picture. Hope you take this in a good spirit. Have fun.--Msrag (talk) 05:59, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
No Problem. You can continue doing what interests you more. If you get a chance, have a look at the list here. Have a great day ahead !! --Msrag (talk) 06:51, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

Hello Jagaddhatri! How are you? You have been doing good edits in several articles, which is great.
Replying to your request, it is not about me or you. Please be assured that your edit was reverted not because it was made by you, but because the edit was deemed unnecessary. You have started a discussion in the talk page, which is a good thing to do in such disputes. Let us wait for input from other editors, and then the necessary changes can be made. If the consensus is to mention the full name once (as I have proposed), then you yourself can make the edit. However, in my opinion, I did not like the way you mentioned the full name so many times—it is ok to mention the full name once, and then use the shorter (and common) version of the name.
As a relatively new comer, you are doing good edits. Sometimes editing may become stressful due to various reasons, including content dispute with others. The key is to keep your cool, right?

I've protected the page for 2 weeks. Drop a line at WP:RFP or my talk page if vandalism comes back after that and longer protection will be considered. Deryck C.09:18, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

Long and continuous storylines are not appropriate to encyclopedic Wikipedia articles. Please view the guidelines at the soap opera project. it states:
"Plot summaries should be kept brief, only as an overview of the topic. The main purpose of Wikipedia articles is to provide encyclopedic information about a subject, such as its cultural impact, and not to provide a detailed and lengthy description of story events. The Wikipedia articles can then provide links to other websites which have more detailed storyline information."
Brief means approximately 500 words. You reverted a deletion of the storyline stating "deletion of plot is not acceptable". The guidelines are very clear and not a matter of opinion. Re-adding the long storyline back in will be taken as disruptive editing. If you are interested in editing soap operas I suggest you join WikiProject Soap Operas. You can discuss major edits on their talk page and find assistance in developing pages. Thank you. Span (talk)11:44, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
