[edit] Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your user page may not meet Wikipedia's user page guidelines. It is intended for basic information about yourself, your interests and goals as they relate to editing Wikipedia, as well as disclosures of conflicts of interest and paid editing. Although a lot of freedom is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not:
- an encyclopedia article (and should not be styled to look like one)
- a workspace for a draft article
- a personal website, blog, or social media site
- a space for self-promotion or other advertising
- a CV, resumé or lengthy autobiography
The user page guidelines have additional information on what is and what is not considered acceptable content. Please use your user sandbox or the draft article space to practice editing or to create new articles. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 13:07, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

- Thank you very much for this comprehensive and helpful commentary. I shall see if I can find additional appropriate material for this entry and shall employ this advice on another I am working on. Taiaha80 (talk) 03:25, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
- I regret I was unable to find additional materials to satisfy the and so shall not resubmit this entry. Taiaha80 (talk) 03:04, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the update Taiaha80 and well done for looking.
- If I discover someone interesting for whom there are not quite yet enough sources for an encyclopaedia entry on Wikipedia, I like to add the information to Wikidata - here is Steve Turton's entry - you can edit Wikidata using the same login that you use to edit Wikipedia. Information on Wikidata is easily discoverable in multiple languages and structured form, and people who are not yet encylopaedia-notable can be very useful and interesting entries in this linked open data.
- I hope that you'll continue editing - let me know if I can help you in future - I'm very happy to chat about possible articles and we can think through together whether they'll meet notability criteria, if that's useful. Zeromonk (talk) 10:04, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
- Great. Thanks for this. I do appreciate that some of the work I did on the entry for Steve Turton will have some use in Wikidata. I shall keep editing though the opportunities I have to engage are pretty sporadic! Thanks for your kind offer of support too. Taiaha80 (talk) 02:22, 20 March 2025 (UTC)

April 2025
[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Royal Geographical Society of South Australia, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 04:10, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
