Thanks for the response, Tacyarg, I had a reference for the edit, but had trouble inserting it, so will do some more research on that process. Thanks for connecting with me about the problem. Sunflower&Iris (talk) 19:42, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your reply. The guide for citing sources linked above should help, or let me know if I can help. Tacyarg (talk) 20:52, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Sunflower&Iris. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:14, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Jimfbleak
I am currently on the board of ICD, but will be retiring from that position at the end of June. So should I wait and resubmit an article on chronic disorganization then? Pfkcoach (talk) 11:55, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is an unpaid position! Pfkcoach (talk) 12:05, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Pfkcoach You are allowed to edit with a conflict of interest, as long as it's declared, preferably on your user page User:Pfkcoach. Your replying here, and the comment on my talk page suggest that you and Sunflower&Iris are the same person, if that is the case, please only edit from one account in the future, operating multiple accounts can lead to a block. If I've got that wrong, please clarify the connection between the accounts. Also note that, even ignoring whether the draft was produced by an LLM, the text was almost completely noncompliant with our rules and, for that matter, standard English grammar. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:21, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Pfkcoach I assume that you are a native speaker of English, yet you posted a 1700-word single paragraph (more than three pages of A4) that begins Chronic disorganization chronic (See also chronic condition) disorganized or lack of organization See also: disorganization Chronic disorganization persists.... Looks like a bot to me Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:41, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Jimfbleak
It wasn't a single paragraph on my version. I submitted it in talk for help, including formatting! I can send you my word doc. Pfkcoach (talk) 16:36, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Pfkcoach You still haven't clarified how many accounts you are using. When you posted your text here, surely you must have noticed the huge continuous block of text? People will help with formatting, but we won't write the page for you. Also, you had no wikilinks, an impenetrable referencing system (you must follow our in-line referencing style) and it's impossible to tell if everything is referenced to independent verifiable sources. Nobody will plough through what you dumped, at the very least you must make an effort to write in sentences and paragraphs, with wikilinks and properly formatted in-line references Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:50, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
