Thank you! SeaDragon1 (talk) 20:42, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, you can just link to WP:TEA instead of WP:Teahouse, it's much shorter. SeaDragon1 (talk) 13:45, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I'm not used to this stuff. You may reply to April 2025. SeaDragon1 (talk) 15:00, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

April 2025

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Erica Luttrell, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. see WP:DOB Waxworker (talk) 11:44, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

All right. I mean, Fandom pages are governed by CC-BY-SA, so I assume the images are too. By the way, her birthday is March 20, 1982, according to Q3056461 from Wikidata. SeaDragon1 (talk) 14:34, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Proposed infobox:
Erica Luttrell
Born (1982-03-20) March 20, 1982 (age 43)
OccupationActress
Years active1991–present
Spouse
Jessica Mallers

I don't have any opinion on adding an image to the infobox, but the file invoked, 'Erica Luttrell 260x360.webp', is a redlink and doesn't exist. Wikidata is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:RSPWD, and the source cited on Wikidata for DOB is IMDB, which is a similarly unreliable user-generated source per WP:IMDB. MyHeritage also doesn't seem like a reliable source - see these previous RSN discussions: 1, 2, 3. Waxworker (talk) 16:23, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Infoboxes may NOT be indented, thank you. Zinnober9 (talk) 18:34, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It was used for Rachel Luttrel! SeaDragon1 (talk) 20:12, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
(Reply for User:Waxworker) SeaDragon1 (talk) 20:13, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
A source being used on other articles doesn't necessarily mean it's reliable - plenty of articles cite fan wikis or WP:IMDB despite them being unreliable. Waxworker (talk) 12:02, 5 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. What are some reliable sources I can use? SeaDragon1 (talk) 18:31, 5 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Reliable sources give you the details but essentially what is needed are newspaper and magazine articles from publications that exercise editorial oversight and fact checking on their articles. -- Whpq (talk) 19:03, 5 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Right now I'm scouring Google trying to look for birth dates from .gov or .ca sites. SeaDragon1 (talk) 13:40, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The best source I could find was, unfortunately, IMDB, because I've been searching for maybe 30 minutes and I couldn't find anything. SeaDragon1 (talk) 13:57, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
