- Thank you very much for responding. I am an experienced researcher, but a complete novice with respect to Wikipedia (except as a user). There are already articles on Grigori Kompaneyets in the German Wikipedia, and also in the Ukrainian Wikipedia. May I use the secondary sources cited there, as citations for the English-language article? Or would it be better to reach out to the creators of those articles directly? 24.188.221.117 (talk) 14:41, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
change of spelling while article is in draft
[edit]I am working on a draft article for Grigory Isaakovich Kompaneyets (Григорій Ісакович Компані́єць, 1881-1959). In earlier drafts I spelled his first name "Grigori." I can now see that "Grigory" is the preferred spelling in English-language scholarship. I have made this change in the body of the draft. Can I also change the spelling in the _heading_ of the draft? I would like to get more specific requirements as to what is missing. I believe the sources I cited are the most significant print sources in English and in German. Other sources include the German-language wikipedia, the Ukrainian wikipedia, the on-line Russian Academic Encyclopedia, and one other print dictionary of Russian and Soviet composers.
Would it help if I include those sources?
