Sockpuppet account?

It's come to my attention that my account was flagged for potentially being a sockpuppet. I wish I knew more about how Wikipedia's technology worked so I could prove my innocence, but the only thing I can say now is that I'm not affiliated with any of the other accounts that were suspected. I do understand the circumstances that lead to me being listed among the suspected accounts, but I am merely just a new editor who is currently only interested in working on the Vital Articles project.
