Bart Gunn

[edit]

Hi, I was simply trying to summarize the matches since I was watching them for more storyline details. I was about to cite a video showing the matches as they aired on TV back then. I just happened to finish typing before I added the source, but I think I shouldn't have hit "publish" yet until it was properly sourced. 67.249.54.138 (talk) 00:19, 27 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No, problem. The thing I found an issue with was "receiving positive fanfare from the audience" which, from my perspective, implied that the audience was in favor of Gunn, but that's just me. If you can find a source for the audience approval that would be fine. If not then maybe you could rephrase it to not imply the opinion of the audience. The rest of your edit was good, though. Menno Van Dam

I added some recent updates on his carreer, and you deleted them instantly... Why? 188.180.22.122 (talk) 13:44, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You added information on a living person without a source to verify the claims. That is a violation of Wikipedia's BLP policy. Pyrrhic victor (talk) 13:52, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

AfDs aren't necessary for articles for topics that aren't remotely notable

[edit]

In the future, if you encounter someone who has mistaken Wikipedia for LinkedIn and the speedy deletion criteria applies, you can just tag the article with {{Db-person}} . Thanks, OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:52, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

And in this particular case, it would've also been fine just to warn the user and revert Anant to the original redirect. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:55, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks for the information Pyrrhic victor (talk) 16:51, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
