Talpur dynasty
[edit]Hi, Noorullah, I have to ask, don't you think Talpurs defeated Afghans and gained their own rule? MirSharuk (talk) 16:19, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
- The situation is convoluted. The Durranis initially backed the Kalhoras who were defeated -- and they later supported the Talpurs, who remitted tribute to the Durranis thereafter. Noorullah (talk) 20:56, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
- they rarely payed it and defeated durranis MirSharuk (talk) 22:27, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
A FFD nomination that is of utmost importance for you
[edit]I found an image of a squealing pig in the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy article that I believe doesn’t belong. It strikes me as sensational rather than informative, and I think it violates a few Wikipedia policies.
I’ll be proposing its deletion at FFD, presenting a thoughtful, policy-based argument—one not rooted in personal offense, which often isn’t persuasive on its own.
Though I’m not Muslim, I understand this image may be troubling to others, and I’d like to involve a range of perspectives.
I’ll let you know once the discussion is started, but before that, I’d like to confirm if this is something that concerns you as well. Delicate ve precious (talk) 18:03, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

Hello sir can you make some edit in battle of saraghari
[edit]I checked some accounts on Twitter they say there were 1,000 people in the attack. One of them also provided references. Can you do some research on it?
I checked on the print website and article about this battle
It's says
There is no record of any Pashtun account of the battle. Hence, most non-military accounts of the Battle of Saragarhi are imaginary and speculative.
I have carefully studied the Digest of Service of 36/4 Sikh and most of the accounts written about the battle over the past 122 years. According to military records, the Pashtun force that attacked Saragarhi post numbered between 1,000 and 1,500 rebels.
The Saragarhi post was situated on a cliff facing south, with a narrow spur connecting it to the main ridge. Due to the terrain, no more than 80 to 100 attackers could engage the post at any one time. However, the Pashtuns had sufficient reserves to launch repeated waves of assault. Meanwhile, the rest of their force was tasked with cutting off or blocking routes to Fort Lockhart and Fort Gulistan, as well as laying siege to Gulistan and other nearby forts David flinky 2344 (talk) 04:02, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
