DYK for Europapa
On 7 October 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Europapa, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that "Europapa" was the first song in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest to be disqualified after the start of the contest? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Europapa. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Europapa), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Dover Motor Speedway
Hello, I am wondering if the Dover Motor Speedway edits are okay? I am trying to cut down on some of the fluff (so it can still be understandable and readable) while trying to retain the GA overhaul you did (and keeping the sources) and wondering if that is okay or should I do it a different way? MysticCipher87(alt-account) (talk) 18:59, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- @MysticCipher87(alt-account): Honestly? Aside from a few tweaks (mainly with grammar), it was completely justified. I've got to give you my props; I may have disagreed with you more times than not, but I have got to say that you know how to write a good lead! I will say to you that as long as you can fine-tune the grammar, you're on the right track. Your grammar in my opinion does need some work; but content-wise, I do believe you're definitely on the right track. Keep progressing! :) Cheers! - @MysticCipher87(alt-account): OK, made some tweaks. I do like how summarized it is! You've done a good job at that. Again, grammar needs a bit of work in my opinion. Also, there isn't a need to separate events into numerous, small separate paragraphs. But overall; you've made some great progress! Keep it up. Cheers! Better source request for File:Playing with Numbers.jpeg
Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 15:49, 25 December 2024 (UTC)

Hey Barn"Star"
Hope you enjoyed your vacation, and more so, that you got a decent rest from your college studies. :-) And as for all your work here - and even the work you keep doing already right when you got back - with what seems a grandioze expension on Nascar articles (I don't have knowledge in this but see your work-"girth") - and all your wonderful contributions in Eurovision including "Hurricane" article which I followed - I'm most happy to give you another barnstar which I would have given you soon anyway; and further thrilled for seeing it makes you happy to collect another one! :-) I intermingled some previous pieces for the "Eaea" composition, and continue to work on some minor re-additions at Eaea's other chapters, for your ongoing review and work. Wanted to first finish with the composition chapter and as I was eager to already give you this barnstar :-) So here goes:

The Original Barnstar | |
Thrilled to give you this barnstar for all your "Nascar"-races, music, and even sensitive issues in music with several fantastic expensions I personally followed at the likes of "Hurricane" and "Eaea", for your positive spirit communication - and overall - for you being you. :-) אומנות (talk) 15:17, 26 January 2025 (UTC) |
- Since I already wrote here, and it's more so in regards to mainly small re-additions, I continue here to say I'm finished with the stuff I felt important to re-add. With this, as I wrote in one of my edit summaries - if you feel like moving-around/jiggle with the overall song+dance performance sentence I added under "Background and composition"; as you added views to that under the "At Eurovision" specific performance, split from general critical reception. Nice call for this easier-reading and somewhat different-angle views split. If you feel something still needs complete removal, I would love to know your thoughts.
- I also wonder what you think about a previous Benidorm popularity by ESC websites and another favorite which appeared at the article (I'm talking about this: "While it progressed to the final stage of the national Benidorm Fest 2023, "Eaea" was considered a favorite to win across numerous Eurovision fan polls, including ones on Wiwibloggs[18] and ESCUnited.[19] "Eaea" was competing for the triumph of the Festival with the other great favorite by the public, the song "Quiero Arder" by the Canarian singer Agoney.[20]" Is this something you felt less notable also due to ESC websites, or you didn't notice this when you reworked the article, as you added other reviews from ESC sites?
- One more: Wondering about a swap at "Critical reception" - wouldn't be better to place major medias (BBC, Guardian) for 1st para, then ESC sites as 2nd, which then order-advances the more notable ones and fits your header of "International and Eurovision-related media"?
- Also, good luck and enjoyment while finishing working on "Unicorn" with its ongoing review. Just point that I think I saw a mistake there with regards to results where it says finished overall in 5th, instead of 3rd. אומנות (talk) 23:02, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for the pictures at Las Vegas!
Hi Nascar9919,
I saw you uploaded a bunch of pictures from the Truck Series race at Las Vegas- thank you! Glad you got Nathan Byrd and Corey Day who previously didn't have pictures. I bet you've seen this list but of the people that we currently don't have images of, keep your eyes peeled for Chris Lawson (Todd Gilliland's crew chief) and Davin Restivo (Riley Herbst's crew chief) if you'll be at the Cup Series race tomorrow (technically today as it's past midnight when I'm typing this, LOL!). The same goes for Chad Johnston, Greg Ives and Johnny Klausmeier who now work for LMC, Hendrick and RCR, respectively, in non-crew chiefing roles (they might or might not be at the track every race). If you went to the Xfinity Series race, hopefully you took some pictures at that race too!
Happy picture-taking and hope you're having fun at the races this weekend! Cavanaughs (talk) 07:52, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
