Hello, Mkleox, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Farhad Farassat, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Farhad Farassat, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Mkleox. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 23:23, 20 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mkleox. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you believe that there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  PhilKnight (talk) 16:49, 28 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Hello, I believe there has been a misunderstanding. I have only ever used one Wikipedia account: **Mkleox**. I have not created or used any other account, including "Edwin.babaians". Also, regarding the article **Farhad Farassat**, I would like to clarify that I independently compiled and added information based entirely on **verifiable facts and reliable external sources**, such as news articles and public information. The content was written in a **neutral tone**, without promotional language. I kindly ask you to please **review the content of the article itself**, as I believe it complies with Wikipedia’s guidelines on notability and neutrality. I respectfully request that the block be reconsidered. Thank you. Mkleox (talk) 15:59, 3 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Confirmed to aforementioned account, Edwin.babaians and now to the newly created account, Calipsosun, which I'll go and block. That's one step closer to a community ban. Yamla (talk) 16:54, 3 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Unblock discussions should be on-wiki where possible. I believe I received the same first email as PhilKnight. There was nothing significant there that couldn't have been said on-wiki. --Yamla (talk) 17:36, 3 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Request reason:

The accounts Mkleox (mine), Edwin.babaians (my colleague), and Calipsosun (my partner) belong to separate individuals. We contributed from the same network, unaware this might cause issues. I did not control any other accounts. I now understand the policies better and sincerely apologize for any confusion. I’d appreciate a chance to contribute constructively. Mkleox (talk) 18:13, 3 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Accepted per below convo incl. the undertaking to comply with our policies and guidelines. DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:29, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

What do you make of this, PhilKnight? Seems like a plausible explanation to me, but I of course don't have access to the CU data that you do. (Obviously it's problematic that they've outed the two other users, but that can probably be resolved by redaction.) --DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:24, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It's fairly plausible. The CU data implies they are all sharing a computer, which is possible I guess. The problem is, it's also plausible that it's one person who has created some linkedin pages to support the socking. If we believe them, then they have probably engaged in meatpuppetry. I don't object if you want to unblock. PhilKnight (talk) 16:32, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the swift response, @PhilKnight. Yes, that thought occurred to me, too, but I checked out the LinkedIn profiles and company website, and it's either genuine or a very elaborate scam, so I think we ought to assume the former (per ROPE, if nothing else).
I will need to post some stern warnings and advice here, though, and would only unblock if Mkleox agrees to heed them, but assuming they do, then with your consent I propose to do that. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:40, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
DoubleGrazing - that's fine by me. PhilKnight (talk) 16:44, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Yamla: are you happy for me to unblock the other two accounts, Calipsosun and Edwin.babaians, per the above? I presume they were blocked only as apparent socks/meats of Mkleox, and not for any additional reason? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:21, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I am happy for you to do so. Note that Edwin.babaians was blocked by PhilKnight, though, I only blocked Calipsosun. --Yamla (talk) 10:36, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, thanks for pointing that out. I assume @PhilKnight is okay with that also? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:29, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's okay with me. PhilKnight (talk) 11:36, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, both. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:39, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock conditions

[edit]

Hello,

Please read and understand all of the following, as a condition of being unblocked:

  1. You must not reveal the identity of any other Wikipedia user without their clear, prior consent. I understand why you did it this time around for the two users mentioned here, but please make sure not to do that again. (I will also shortly remove that information from this page, so please do not add it back.)
  2. The three of you must not collaborate in any manner which violates Wikipedia rules as laid out in WP:MEAT. Examples (non-exhaustive list, obviously) of unacceptable behaviour would include vote-stacking in discussions, getting another account to do something on your behalf like removing speedy requests, edit warring by proxy, etc.
  3. You must disclose all conflicts of interest (see WP:COI), and adhere to the rules regarding the same (as was pointed out to you two weeks ago). For example, having looked at your company website, I can see that you have an obvious COI with regard to Farhad Farassat, which means that you should not have published that article directly in the encyclopaedia but should have instead created a draft and put that through the AfC review process.

If you are willing to abide by the above, please confirm. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:00, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank you for the clear explanation and fair guidance. I fully understand and accept the conditions outlined, including respecting privacy, avoiding collaborative rule violations, and adhering to COI policies. I appreciate the opportunity to contribute constructively.
Best regards, @Mkleox
Mkleox (talk) 10:04, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I've unblocked you on this basis, and also unblocked the other two accounts. Please ask the others to also review what I've said above about COI editing, to avoid further trouble.
If you experience any problems due to possibly remaining automatic IP blocks or some such issues, let us know. Otherwise, welcome back and happy editing! -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:42, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Farhad Farassat moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Farhad Farassat. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:16, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank you for the clear explanation and fair guidance. I fully understand and accept the conditions outlined, including respecting privacy, avoiding collaborative rule violations, and adhering to COI policies. I appreciate the opportunity to contribute constructively.
Best regards, @Mkleox Mkleox (talk) 08:50, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I assume you posted this in response to the conditions in the section above, titled 'Unblock conditions'? Please confirm. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:13, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes Indeed. I have put it ti the correct place. Mkleox (talk) 10:05, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the to Farhad Farassat page, thank you for your feedback, @DoubleGrazing. I appreciate the guidance regarding sourcing and notability. I'll work on improving the draft with additional reliable sources and ensure compliance with Wikipedia's content and COI guidelines.
Best regards, @Mkleox Mkleox (talk) 10:08, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
