IP editor not relenting

[edit]

Howdy. I noticed you gave this IP a final warning for repeated additions of unsourced content; it looks like this behaviour is continuing. I'm wary of getting drawn into an edit war (even with WP:3RRNO), but this is becoming a painful WP:IDHT timesink so I'm dropping you a line. Best regards, — ser! @Ser!: Thanks for letting me know. I've blocked the IP for 31 hours. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:31, 14 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, hate to trouble you again but... such behaviour continues. Thanks, ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 16:54, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Ser!: Warning given, though it probably won't be long until it escalates to another block. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:21, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Matty and Ser!, could you explain why you're reverting the IP? To my knowledge, the transfer windows in Germany and England won't open until 1 July so transfers that have been announced recently won't come into effect until then. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 22:19, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Per the Prem announcing it, the window was open between June 1 and June 10 (between which both Kelleher and Flekken were announced to have signed for their respective teams) and reopened June 16. Per the BBC, this means every team could sign players for ten days, not just CWC competitors. Every single reliable source reporting on the players whose pages I've reverted on have made reference to the players signing, with not one single reference to "30 June" or "1 July" as the IP has added. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 22:41, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, fair enough. From what I'd read about the extra window in Germany, it seemed like it only applied to CWC competitors. Robby.is.on (talk) 22:58, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, this has re-ensued once again. Do you think it might be worth sending the page to RfPP? ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 19:56, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Ser!: Maybe, but as it's one editor involved I think it's better to deal with them individually. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:26, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 20:28, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question about FIFA nationalities

[edit]

I changed Bryan Mbeumo's short description to Cameroonian footballer because Mbeumo represents the Cameroon national team. When is it appropriate and not appropriate to refer to multiple nationalities in a short description for a association football player? Raskuly (talk) 23:51, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
