Long shot, but I will ask anyway (what font did you use for the Signpost logo thirteen years ago?)
I'm trying to set up an external frontend for the Signpost, and in the last decade-and-a-half it has become much easier to embed web fonts into pages. However, I cannot really find anything that matches the beautiful File:Signpost2.png, which I see was made by you and released as PD. Do you remember what font this was? jp×g 01:12, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- It's been a while and the memory gets foggy, but I'm pretty sure it was the regular weight of a TrueType font appropriately called "Old English" originally released by the Agfa division of Bayer back in 1995. It was distributed free at some point and is still in my collection. This should be it:

- I remember it being a challenge trying to find a replacement font to tidy up the older Signpost logo, which was a slightly more elaborate but also muddier typeface called "Certificate," itself a recreation of "Wedding Text." However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
