Gulf Stream Hotel v. Gulfstream Hotel
[edit]The article Gulf Stream Hotel is primarily about the historical structure, so it should use the spelling of the historical structure. The "Gulfstream Hotel" spelling appears to only have shown up with the new redevelopment project. It's appropriate to use that spelling in the portions of the article that talk about the redevelopment and reopening but nothing else. —C.Fred (talk) 03:05, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
- Please do not add external links in the body of the text. Also, some of the content you wrote was very promotional, and, if you are adding content provided by ChatGPT, it is your responsibility to verify it yourself before adding it to the article. A question regarding conflict of interest
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia!
But I notice that your first edits were all to the Gulf Stream Hotel article, and that you seem particularly interested in the redevelopment project. So I think it wise to ask, have you any connection to the developers?
Such a connection does not prevent you from contributing to the article. Just the opposite, we welcome your knowledge of the subject. But it must be disclosed, and there are procedures to allow you to contribute without directly editing the article. Andrewa (talk) 03:42, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the message. New to editing and I thought I edited correctly. I’ve been following Gulfstream Hotel for years and collecting information hoping for it to be respirated and reopen. I do not think there is a conflict of interest but I know the developers. Just stating facts that I’ve researched and learned to make this article up to date. I followed the citation links and added two links from the edit mention (I used the parentheses on top to add the sources for the citation under “Restoration”). Please help if I didn’t do this correctly. Lorenzo Cassini (talk) 11:35, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
