- I am a bit confused. All of the following sources that were cited in the article are independent sources:

- https://www.aacu.org/podcasts/academicminute/2021-10-mike-piero-cuyahoga-community-college-studying-video-games-as-culture
- This doesn't include the publications that were published in peer-reviewed journals that I included links for and other creative journals. None of those publications were self-published. Each one of those citations provided led directly to those journals and magazines. The Tri-C posts are not posted directly by Mike Piero and neither is the academic minute.
