If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. ✗plicit 23:49, 30 June 2025 (UTC)

Request reason:
- I am employed by Grow Wild Agency and, in that role, contract for Casa Leo Pet. I did not realize paid contributors must disclose their employer, client, and affiliation (per Wikipedia’s Terms of Use and the Paid-contribution disclosure requirement) [oai_citation:0‡en.wikipedia.org](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia%3APaid-contribution_disclosure?). I now understand that promotional edits are considered spam (WP:SPAM) [oai_citation:1‡en.wikipedia.org](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia%3ASPAM?) and that usernames implying an organization violate the username policy (WP:NAMEGUIDE) [oai_citation:2‡en.wikipedia.org](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia%3AUsername_policy?). I will not repeat those promotional edits and will instead focus on making neutral, well-sourced improvements in areas of my personal expertise, fully disclosing any paid affiliations with {{paid|employer=Grow Wild Agency|client=Casa Leo Pet}} Casa Leo Pet (talk) 00:13, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
Decline reason:
- Hi, if you want your unblock to be taken into consideration, you need to put it in your own words, not ChatGPT's. You're the one who is blocked, so you're the one who has to express an understanding of why you're blocked and how to improve in the future. This is quite clearly AI created; when you pasted the ChatGPT output, you left in the HTML for OpenAI-generated citations. Best wishes on returning to editing. Administrators should consider discussing any unblock with the blocking administrator (see the blocking policy).
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, please replace this template with the following:
{{unblock-un on hold | 1=blocking administrator | 2=Kadenwithacat | 3=I’m requesting to be unblocked and change my username. I’m employed by Grow Wild Agency and, through them, I also work with Casa Leo Pet. I didn’t previously understand Wikipedia’s rules about disclosing paid affiliations, and I mistakenly made edits that were promotional. I now clearly understand that Wikipedia is not for advertising or promotion, and that my previous username gave the impression I represented a business, which is against policy.
Thank you for reconsidering.

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following:

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, replacing {{subst:Decline reason here}}
with any specific rationale. If you do not edit the text after "decline=", a default reason why the request was declined will be inserted.

- I have renamed your account. Another uninvolved admin will review your unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 15:56, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) Hi! While that is a very good start, can you give examples of edits you would make in the future if unblocked? If you are interested in editing about topics unrelated to your employer, that would be great. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 05:48, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi there—thanks for following up. If I’m unblocked, I’d like to focus on pet-related pages: tightening up breed articles, adding vetted sources on common health issues, and expanding adoption and rescue content I know from volunteering. I won’t touch anything connected to Grow Wild Agency or Casa Leo Pet, and I’ll flag any paid ties if they ever come up. Thanks for considering. 170.203.207.156 (talk) 19:40, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- If I’m unblocked, here’s what I plan to do, neutralize the Automatic litter box article by removing any promotional language for Litter-Robot, adding balanced coverage of other automatic litter boxes, and including a comparison table sourced from my dataset of dozens of models.
- Improve pet-care and hygiene pages by adding well-sourced sections on cleaning routines, odor control (even amonia control for pregnant mothers), and safe materials—drawing on expert guidelines and veterinary publications.
- Expand pet-protection and philanthropy content with brief summaries of reputable rescue organizations, grant programs, and community outreach efforts, citing nonprofit reports and news articles.
- I volunteer regularly with animal shelters and have hands-on experience with these products and programs. I will steer clear of any article directly about Casa Leo Pet or Grow Wild Agency, and I’ll disclose my paid affiliation if it ever becomes relevant. Kadenwithacat (talk) 20:18, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- Just to clarify – while it is good to be familiar enough with the topic to understand the sources, hands-on experience isn't something you can cite directly. You should work from the sources and only from the sources, not from what you know personally. Regarding comparison tables between models, be careful as they often appear promotional, and are rarely encyclopedic – Wikipedia isn't there to provide product comparisons.Do you have an example of a (short) paragraph or section you would add to one of these pages, so reviewers can have a better idea? Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 21:15, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Chaotic Enby, thanks for the note. I’d like to expand the automatic litter box page with material that sticks strictly to what’s covered in reliable sources, without adding any personal experience or comparison charts.
- For example, I’d add a short section explaining how these devices work in general: most units use sensors to detect when a cat has used the box, wait a few minutes, then run a motor to remove waste automatically. There are three main designs—rake systems that push clumps into a tray, rotating drum systems that sift by spinning the litter chamber, and water-flush systems that clean reusable granules and send waste down the drain. Newer models also have app features to help owners track their cat’s health. This would all be cited to sources like Cats.com reviews, the New York Times Wirecutter, and patent listings.
- I won’t include product-by-product comparisons—just neutral, sourced information about how the technology works and how it developed over time. If that sounds good, I’ll prepare a short draft in the next few days for review.
- Thanks! Kadenwithacat (talk) 19:33, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
