User talk:JstJak4u2c
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, JstJak4u2c, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Speedy deletion nomination of Miss Trans Star Star International
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Miss Trans Star Star International, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer. (See section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - I only want the title updated to Miss Trans Star International. You you have to delete the Miss Trans Star Star international Page first? JstJak4u2c (talk) 04:06, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
- No, retitling the article and deleting the Miss Trans Star Star International page are completely separate. The instructions for updating the title are at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Controversial.
- Also, may I kindly ask you please say what your relationship to the pageant is (employer, client, etc.)? Thank you! Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 05:51, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
- I am the Executive Director of the pageant. The pageant was created as Miss Trans Star Internacional, then renamed Miss Tran Star International. 2 years ago the pageant was renamed Miss Star International however the pageant has decided to return to its roots and retake the name that built it. Which is Miss Trans Star International. (I am listed as the Executive Director on the page) all information on the page references Miss Trans Star International and we just want to ensure that it is correct. JstJak4u2c (talk) 09:30, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
- Also I believe I have to wait on the Move until the Miss Trans Star Star is deleted as I just tried to move to Miss Trans Star and it says the page already exists. JstJak4u2c (talk) 09:34, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi I believe the Miss Trans Star Star page has been deleted, however I’m not able to move it now to Miss Trans Star International as it says the name already exists. JstJak4u2c (talk) 11:44, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm Fortuna imperatrix mundi. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Miss Star International seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Fortuna, imperatrix 09:47, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
- I’m a bit confused why historical information and updated information about the pageant was removed…please help me understand so I can ensure edits in the future are done correctly. JstJak4u2c (talk) 10:20, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

- I apologize as I did not realize providing updated information about the organization was a conflict of interest, should I have requested this information from someone else to update? I truly don't understand why you would not want someone from the organization updating to reflect accurate and up to date information. JstJak4u2c (talk) 18:55, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am actually the executive director of the pageant and have been continually trying to update our active page to accurately reflect the information about the pageant. I made the initial mistake of moving the page to Miss Trans Star Star International and it should have been Miss Trans Star International. The edits that have been done on the page were to increase information about the brand and update website information, ceo, directors and such.JstJak4u2c (talk) 18:49, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Decline reason:
That means you have a conflict of interest and have been violating WP:COI and possibly WP:PAID. Additionally, your edits were blatantly inappropriate, a clear violation of WP:PROMO. Yamla (talk) 18:50, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
- I was not aware of either policy that I was not able to change this information as part of the organization. I truly was only trying to update to reflect accurate information about the organization.
- Can you please provide guidance as to what the right way would be to get the page updated to reflect the accurate infromation? JstJak4u2c (talk) 19:05, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I apologize as I did not realize providing updated information about the organization was a conflict of interest, should I have requested this information from someone else to update? - JstJak4u2c: you weren't "providing updated information", you were adding blatantly promotional bullshit. And it wasn't even in your own interest to do so. Anyone reading "Miss Trans Star International is far more than a beauty pageant for transgender women, it is a global celebration of identity, courage, and the radiant diversity of transgender women from around world" is likely to think "this article was written by a PR person, there's no reason to believe any of it". Maproom (talk) 20:19, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for that "friendly response" as I'm still new and navigating Wikipedia these are things I was not aware...did not know having information written for us was against the TOS, and for that I completely apologize.
As I continue to learn and navigate things please advise how future updates need to be handled because currently the information on the page is wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JstJak4u2c (talk • contribs) 20:25, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, JstJak4u2c. You have been blocked, and you will not be unblocked unless you show you understand why you were blocked and undertake not to do that again. Part of why you were blocked was your failure to follow the recommendations in COI: you should not directly edit an article in which you have a COI at all, but should instead make edit requests.
- But the other part is that your edits were promotional. Please understand that Wikipedia has little interest in what the subject of an article says or wants to say about themselves, or what their associates say about them. Wikipedia is almost exclusively interested in what people who have no connection with the subject, and who have not been prompted or fed information on behalf of the subject, have chosen to publish about the subject in reliable sources. If enough material is cited from independent sources to establish notability, a limited amount of uncontroversial factual information may be added from non-independent sources.
- In other words, Wikipedia is not interested in anything that you or your associates say or want to say about the pageant, except where what you say is backed up by a wholly independent source. --ColinFine (talk) 20:53, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Colin - Thank you for your prompt response. I truly appreciate you taking the time to detail the information and now that I truly know the process and understand the logic behind all of it I am more than happy to comply with the COI...I truly just took for granted that I could just update the information and did not realize that being in my role that it was a COI (I thought everything was updated by individuals contributors). I completely understand the information piece it's a cut and dry information...here it is and here are the sources.....moving forward I am happy to submit edits through the Edit Requests section which obviously will eliminate issues moving forward. I assure you that I have read through the information and will continue to follow all guidelines set forth and hope that we are able to eventually unblock the account. - I'm going to add on to ColinFine's comment (which I entirely agree with) that the other reason you were blocked is that you were edit warring - you made an edit, Fortuna imperatrix mundi reverted it, and then you made substantively the same edit again without an edit summary. The right thing to do when you are reverted is to attempt to discuss the matter, either on the talk page of the article itself, on the revertee's talk page, or elsewhere (WP:Pinging them may be helpful). Repeatedly reinstating changes you know to be contested is inappropriate. * Pppery * it has begun... 00:06, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
- In addition to what Pppery has added, since you are the executive directive of the pagaent, you also have to abide by Wikipedia's paid editing policies. Can you review those and tell me what you would need to do? Additionally, can you tell us if there are any other subjects you would be interested in editing on Wikipedia? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 01:23, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking the time to answer and the only changes that need to be made is the title of the organization should be Miss Trans Star International (not Miss Star International.
- the website should be: www.transstarinternational.com JstJak4u2c (talk) 01:31, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
- This is not the time to request edits, though if this is your only reason for having a Wikipedia account, I can look into it. If you would like to be unblocked, you will need to read WP:PAID, then explain how this applies to your block and what you'd do differently moving forward.
