Kia ora, I see that you are working on a bio in draft space. In fact, you've created two bios in draft for the same person. If I may offer some advice it is this: work on existing articles first and get some experience how Wikipedia works. What the expected style is. How you do references. How you work with images. Without some experience under your belt, I sense that your first attempt at an article will be an unpleasant experience. Any questions, please ask. Here's good. We talked some years ago about material I posted on Lochmara Bay.

I am in a difficulty with the material on my father. Initially my intention had been to insert an image into the List of King's Counsel and Queen's Counsel in New Zealand (which, obviously, called for an image of him), but I decided to create a short story about him (including the image), first. Having stuffed that up (so I thought, because it seemed to have disappeared), I changed tack and today posted the image to Wikimedia first and then re-wrote the story better as a second draft with more precisely stated references and a link to the Wikimedia image (I hope). At this stage I am floundering and have not the time to do any more, so perhaps the image should stay on Wikimedia and I should just give up on the story (obviously, much of that story comes from 'family records' and isn't amenable to proper referencing, anyway).
