Have you looked at the page Paper railroad? It contains this sentence: "In the context of recent times, the phrase "paper railroad" is still used, but generally refers to railroads which are subsidiaries of larger parent railroads, or formerly existed and still have locomotives or rolling stock in the former railroad's livery."

Therefore, your edit summary drawing a complete distinction between the ideas of "subsidiary" and "paper railroad" is wholly incorrect.

Also, "subsidiary" is spelled with two "i"s, not one.

So can you tell me why your change is more correct than how it was before?

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Grenada station, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please read WP:USSTATION, which is the naming convention for train stations in the US. As I said in the reason, The Grenada Railroad calls the depot "The Grenada Depot," as you can see here.. I took this picture today. https://imgur.com/1xbl7he IC 9612 (talk) 03:51, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There needs to be substantial and compelling evidence that "Grenada Depot" is the common name; a sign is not sufficient. The USSTATION guideline was developed specifically to avoid constant discussion about station names. Additionally, if a move is controversial, as yours clearly was, you are required to file a requested move rather than making the move again. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 05:01, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
According to Historical Landmarks, it is even known as "Grenada Depot." It is even listed as the "Illinois Central Depot" on the National Register of Historic Places, which you can find right here. https://npgallery.nps.gov/AssetDetail/NRIS/87002308 IC 9612 (talk) 05:10, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
