Allegations should not be in articles, generally. Please do not add back challenged negative material to BLP's without obtaining consensus on talk page.-- Deepfriedokra 09:50, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
I'm looking for more information on why or how a consensus was arrived at for removing information about domestic violence from the Tobias Madison article. It seems highly unusual that the information has been removed, given that there was a criminal proceeding with a plea deal, that it was reported on in publications like Artforum and Hyperallergic - one of the most highly regarded and one of the most read, and that it resulted in other established artists withdrawing participation from an Internationally recognised exhibition. Obviously an important moment in this artist's career. And given that similar information remains on similarly regarded artists, such as Jon Rafman, I find the arguments for removal unsupported.
Edits are also being aggressively monitored.
You seem to have been involved in the discussion for a time. Can you help to explain what's going on? Peas frog (talk) 00:02, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

The page Ramesh Ramakrishnan has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. You had previously requested the restoration of the soft deletion. I draftified the restoration at Draft:Ramesh Ramakrishnan. Please address the issues raised in the AFD discussion, and submit the draft for review. - UtherSRG (talk) 22:19, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
How can it be identical to the deleted page? I researched and wrote the content from scratch. Gorlono (talk) 22:20, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please work on the draft as I indicated. Do not recreate the article in main space. - UtherSRG (talk) 22:21, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Do I have to start again from scratch? Can you restore my page somewhere? I don't have a copy of the page I published. Gorlono (talk) 22:34, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Start from the draft. - UtherSRG (talk) 23:37, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
