Tornado alley

I appreciate your comments but the info is accurate and the devastating tornadoes in Nebraska should not be eliminated. The information was well-cited and a compilation of multiple sources. AI did not generate it. I did use it to help in formatting for Wiki.

The revision you reverted it to is incomplete (list of significant tornadoes and their impact) and fails to address the changes in the geography of Tornado alley.

I'm not Departure–, but I can probably chime in and answer some of the reasons why it was removed Doglover.Coton. Based on the lists that were removed in this edit, I can see a few problems. First of all, Wikipedia does not really use bullet points besides in outlines (example is the organizational office outline of NOAA). Or, in the rare instance they are used (example History of tornado research#Pressure), they all have a citation at the end of each line, and they are all easily summarized by the pre-bullet point statement.

Based on the bullet point list you created on Tornado Alley, which was "Significant Tornado Records in United States History", it seemed to only summarize a handful of the deadliest tornadoes. I will point out, that whole bullet point list, along with a whole lot more, is on the Tornado records article.

Hopefully that explains why it was removed. Even without considering AI-generation, the information is not really important to the article, since tornadic records have their own article.

If anything, you should locate a source directly indicating those tornadic records are important to "Tornado Alley", not just the U.S. or "Central U.S.", since that is what the article is on.

Influence of severe weather on American politics

Hey Departure–. I've been working through a new broad-article topic which will eventually be "Influence of severe weather on American politics" (to go along the series of articles like Politics and sports or Politics of climate change). Right now, it is a red link and I plan to eventually make a draft of it. But, I plan to have it be a "parent" page [summary page] to yearly/decade-articles (so probably a Influence of severe weather on American politics in the 2020s may exist in the future).

For example, I have published the 2020-specific article, which included issues with COVID-19 and tornado disaster relief, along with the big wildfire controversies and new legislation from it.

I started the 2021-specific article in draftspace today...which includes the 2021 Texas power crisis. Well, I wanted to see if you had any interest in helping out with the creation of these articles? I'm 100% planning for 2020–2025, with 2020 already in mainspace (still stuff to add to it) and 2021 in draftspace. The 2021 article includes the Edwardsville Amazon warehouse collapse (an article you created), since that was a crossover between meteorologists and politicians/disaster management, so I wanted to let you know about these new articles. If anyone wants to, Greenfield tornado probably only needs a few more explanations for severe weather terms and some post-anniversary coverage (and the Reed Timmer footage lawsuit?) to be a featured article.
