You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.
Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.- To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
- If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page):
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
.
Important items to note:
- The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
- You are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually. Examples include: "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
- The new username you choose cannot already be taken and used by another account. You can search here to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns, "There is no global account for [username]", that means it is available.
Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Hello Force Motors Corporate Communication. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Force Motors Corporate Communication. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Force Motors Corporate Communication|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:27, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi. Please help me with how can i edit the information on the company's page, as the information mentioned there is either wrong our outdated which needs to be updated. Force Motors Corporate Communication (talk) 08:21, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- You cannot. The most obvious reason is that your account is now blocked, and at present you can only edit this talk page. You will have to either request for your account to be unblocked, or set up a new account with a username that complies with our policy.
- Even then, however, you are not allowed to edit the article directly (except for very straightforward grammar corrections and similar), on account of your obvious conflict of interest (COI). You can make edit requests via the article's talk page, or by using the interactive wizard found at WP:ERW. Uninvolved editors will then assess your request and decide whether it should be carried out or not.
- Finally, on a separate but related point, you must disclose your paid-editing COI, as explained in the above notice. This requires you to place the {{paid}} template, appropriately filled in, on your userpage, but you cannot do that while you are blocked from editing. You should however undertake to do so as soon as you are able, ie. when you are unblocked. Or if you intend to set up a new account, you should make the disclosure pretty much as your first edit. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:35, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- How can i unblock my account. Please help me with the process for the same Force Motors Corporate Communication (talk) 08:52, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- It explains that in the block notice above. And I quote:
- If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
- (In place of "new username", please insert your requested new name. In place of "Your reason here", please give your reasons why you wish your account to be unblocked; include also a commitment to disclose your paid-editing-status as soon as you are able.)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit] Hello, Shaillaja Vishen. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 07:55, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
