1957 UK SF1 Running Order
Hello, I’d like to bring your attention on a source of the running order for the first semifinal in the 1957 British national final for Eurovision.
I found this photo of such event on a BBC article with the participants and David Jacobs sitting near the scoreboard, which lists the songs and running order, but not the artists. Could this be cited as a source? https://www.bbc.co.uk/webarchive/https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.co.uk%2Fblogs%2Faboutthebbc%2Fentries%2F685c2440-f255-4bde-b132-9c8bf8660109 Jusherman (talk) 10:57, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Jusherman, thank you for your message. Gordon Roxburgh has information on all running orders, artists and songs included in his book "Songs for Europe. The United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest", which is the best possible source. I just didn't have the time yet to complete the table but will continue to do so within the next few days. The photo is really nice. Since it gives information about the running order and was published on the official homepage of the BBC, I can add it as an additional source for the first heat.
