Welcome again
[edit]Hi Deejayone, I see that someone's already beaten me to it, but welcome to Wikipedia.
Nice work on the Wednesdayite article. I thought that you might like to join the Sheffield Wednesday Wikiproject and maybe the the football Wikiproject too. The project talk pages are also good places to get help, advice and input as they can generally attract more users than the article talk pages alone.

- To join the project you just need to go to the project page, click edit next to the Participants heading, scroll to the bottom and copy and paste the details as shown, filling in your details. Just ask me if this isn't clear when you try to do it.
- I also advise you to add the project page to your watchlist if it hasn't been done automatically when you edited it – that way you can see any new posts on the talk page on your watchlist.
- Wikipedia has a huge number of policies, some even seem to contradict each other, and it can be very daunting for a newcomer. You will fall foul of one of the policies at some point, I have on many occasions, but Wikipedia also has a policy called assume good faith, which basically means that if your intentions were good then you shouldn't be harshly treated if you accidentally break a policy.
- The main ones that I would recommend that you become familiar with at first are:
- You already seem to be familiar with some of these, or if not, you are at least following the spirit of these policies. If you are unsure on how to do anything on Wikipedia or of any Wikipedia polices, then the Football Wikiproject can be a good place to go for help as there are many experienced editors and a few admins there too. Alternatively feel free to ask me on my talk page and I'll be happy to help (where I can!).
- It's very nice of you to describe the SWFC articles as "excellent" – a handful are, but many of them need work and there are still a lot of missing articles. It's a huge job and and any help is gratefully accepted. Feel free to work on the subjects you are most knowledgeable on or feel most comfortable with. If you have a browse around the SWFC Wikiproject pages then there are lots of pointers on how to improve current articles and a list of missing articles (feel free to add to the list if you spot any missing articles yourself – there must be literally hundreds!).
