Hi. I'm going to talk about an issue that's been revolving around Azerbaijani Wiki for quiet some time. As you may know, there's been an issue of inappropriately using historical pictures that's been found by user Ürfan1917. These pictures were posted on Facebook account of the user in question with his name written on it with red fonts. Another user took these pictures, unprofesionally deleted the name (the red marks are still visible), and posted them on here in their respective pages. Fortunately, it's been resolved, however the user in question wants these pictures to be taken down, and to upload their high resolution versions with his name as source below it. I don't personally know this user, but I'm highly sympathetic with him due to him being the right side in this dispute. Even if these pictures won't be taken down, his name still should be noted as source as "Acquired by Urfan Mammadzadeh".

We cannot help you with issues on another language Wikipedia; each Wikipedia version is a separate project, with their own editors and policies. You will need to handle this on the Azerbaijani Wikipedia using whatever process they have to do so. 331dot (talk) 12:57, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is with the Commons, that's why I started this talk. Urfan1917 says that editors of Azerbaijani Wikipedia agreed to his proposal, but not the editors of the Commons. The pictures have to be taken down on the Commons. Dazai0 (talk) 16:21, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
