Hi and sorry if I did something totally wrong!
The JVx framework is not as big as other frameworks but it's well known in Austria (where I live) and I work with this framework for different companies. Anyways, there are different articles in the press (but only in German language). Do you need articles in English or is German good enough?
I didn't find any external discussions, only questions on stackoverflow.
I'm not sure if it's possible to fulfill your requirements?
The only international reference was this: https://www.plat-forms.org/results-2011
The framework was used 2011 for a web development platform comparison (Team: D) Davspr (talk) 09:38, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Non-English sources are acceptable. Stack Overflow, however, is not (since it is user-generated). jlwoodwa (talk) 09:41, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This means my further readings are not good enough?
I thought that articles of online magazines are allowed?
The plat-forms.org is initiated by a university in germany?
If this isn't good enough I don't find better links, means no article on wikipedia. 212.95.5.167 (talk) 12:04, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

All new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). your first source is a non independent blog; 2,4,5,6,7,8,9 and just non independent code source repositories; that leaves source no 3 that does not even mention JVx. KylieTastic (talk) 12:25, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Understood. References are not independent.
One last try :)
Plat-forms is independent. It mentions JVx in the results document (last page)
The page itself prints Java D (which is JVx with JVx web UI).
I had the same problem as you, but after reading the whole page, i found the reference. It was a development contest and the organizers made the results per technology (Java) and the technologies use different frameworks. Java tech had 4 teams:
(copied from the result document)
Java:
- I: Spring Roo, Hibernate
- A: abaXX.Components including Hibernate
- D: JVx and JVx WebUI
- E: Spring MVC, Hibernate Davspr (talk) 12:31, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Mentions are not significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV). Wikipedia has articles on subjects that can be shown to be notable, not for just existing and/or for being mentioned in a couple of places. KylieTastic (talk) 13:43, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
