You are referring to this link, which is not a source that any Wikipedia user can read, but rather must purchase. It is not a WP:SECONDARY reference. --Zefr (talk) 15:04, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Csupord,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username CatcherStorm and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|CatcherStorm}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Biomedical sourcing

[edit]

You are adding (and re-adding) PMID:38980633 to many articles, but any WP:BMI in articles generally requires WP:MEDRS sourcing. See also WP:SELFCITE and WP:REFSPAM. Wikipedia is not a venue for promotion of one's own work. Bon courage (talk) 22:00, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I did not add to many articles, I added it to 3 articles. What do you exactly mean on "generally requires WP:MEDRS sourcing"? The paper I cited was published based on original clinical research in a C1 medical journal. What else, what more is needed? Csupord (talk) 22:03, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Review articles, basically. Please read WP:MEDRS. Bon courage (talk) 22:04, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In this case, on the vinpocetine page, references 9, 16, 19, 20, 22 and 23 should also be deleted. Csupord (talk) 22:11, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
WP:SOFIXIT. Be aware though that non-MEDRS source may be completely okay for WP:NOTBMI. Bon courage (talk) 22:16, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
