Restriction and IBAN appeal

Hello Callanecc. It has been a little over a year since I was given sanctions and I wanted to appeal directly to you, as you said I could do. In the time since, I sought consensus and reverted changes only when necessary (1RR). And I will continue to avoid edit warring in the future. As for the interaction ban, I have not interacted with Aredoros87 from the time it was given, and because the user has been inactive for almost a year I believe this is no longer needed. Hi KhndzorUtogh. Based on your editing I'm comfortable removing the restriction that requires your to obtain consensus to readd content that has been reverted. Given that Aredoros87 hasn't edited for some time is there a particular reason why the IBAN needs to be removed? It seems unlikely that you'll need to interact with or about them. Just curious. Is it possible to be banned from even READING Wikipedia? I knew about editing blocks, but this is the first that I have seen a "reading block", if I am reading that right, "...the restriction that requires your to obtain consensus to readd content..." Revert contentious edit

Hello @Callanecc, this editor made this contentious edit [3], which is, as you can see, extremely exaggerated, and multiple discussions in the talk page (Talk:Maratha Empire/Archive 2#Neutrality) decided on this neutrally worded passage as present in this version [4]. Hi @Shakakarta: There was an edit war between multiple editors so full protection was needed to stop the edit war and instead focus editors on communicating with each other to form a consensus. Topic restriction query

Kind regards. I thought about expanding the Atalanta (1883) article from SMS Gazelle. The former was previously known as the Restaurador and was a Venezuelan gunboat seized during the 1902-1903 naval blockade of Venezuela, which in turn was a result of international tensions and disputes with Europe.

Shakakarta

Is back to edit warring on Maratha Empire to impose his version. Last time, the article ended up getting protected due to his edit warring and now as well, he is still making reverts even after your warning.[5] This edit summary clearly speaks of the uncollaborative approach which this user has embraced until now. Previously, this user was edit warring to redirect articles such as Battle of Bhagalpur (1745).[6][7]

Also see his nomination: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anglo-Mughal war (1686–1690). It was so bad that one editor wondered "if this is a bad-faith nomination or a competence issue".[8]

Following an RfC, administrator elections were permanently authorized on a five-month schedule. The next election will be scheduled soon; see Wikipedia talk:Administrator elections for more information. This is an alternate process to the RfA process and does not replace the latter.
An RfC was closed with consensus to allow editors to opt-out of seeing "sticky decorative elements". Such elements should now be wrapped in {{sticky decoration wrapper}}. Editors who wish to opt out can follow the instructions at WP:STICKYDECO.
An RfC has resulted in a broad prohibition on the use of AI-generated images in articles. A few common-sense exceptions are recognized.
