Thank you very much for the welcome, JJMC! Just got set-up and about to carry on with some of the groundwork for a mirroring fork/protocol that started developing in my mind as I was mirroring some of the non-English Wikipedia dumps the other day. :-)

One thing my signup highlighted was a potential issue with WP:Policy relating to shared IP addresses. Would it be best to discuss this on the appropriate policy talk page, or at the Village Pump?

Welcome to Wikipedia, Broken Viking! I'm Ozzie10aaaa, and I've been assigned as your mentor. All new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor chosen randomly from a list of volunteers. Rather unwell at the moment (Happens just after my account is opened, eh? :-D) but going to try to carry on with some planned stuff/ideas to help out with the Wikipedia database dumps and making them easier to access. That's assuming I can force my thoughts through this fog of pain of course! :-D
