... for your apology on your user page. We all have problems and must learn to deal with them. When we do our best, we always win. SergeWoodzing (talk) 12:43, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That is fine. I don't feel I was deserving of gratitude following my apology, but that was most kind of you to think of me.

Information icon Hello, BillClinternet, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 08:12, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I am not using any alternative accounts. I am just retiring for awhile.
Thanks,

For clarification, I have used them on Wikimedia Commons when I was initially blocked, then I stopped; as for Wikipedia, I don't and haven't ever.

A tag has been placed on File:PrincessAlexandraOgilvyWeddingProcession.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the non-free content guidelines, please add the appropriate non-free use tag and rationale.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. It is fine, I only upload photos that were made prior to 1970 because of photographer reasons. That doesn't relate to this situation, however, because it was made in 1963. I understand this and didn't notice, so I don't contest.
Thanks,

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Notice

The file File:CoronationofBokassaIenthroned.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Encyclopedic nature of the image cannot be met, as there is a more reliable encyclopedic fair-use image now in place where this image was previously. There is no more need for this image on Wikipedia.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
