Anomie is still around, mostly to maintain AnomieBOT. But after the WMF proved that office politics are more important to them than seemingly anything else, and otherwise generally seem more concerned with their own image than substance, Anomie is not engaging in technical work on MediaWiki.

Despite T360488 asking them not to, Toolforge admins have gone ahead and broken AnomieBOT's scripts. Keeping things running properly will likely require manual intervention until they fix that or give me a usable workaround.

ISO_3166-2:NO split of 2 regions

Hi Anomie, you reverted my change: diff please check the Wikipedia Articles about the 2 provinces. These (once combined regions) were split again in 2024.

Vestfold og Telemark "On 31 December 2023, the county ceased to exist. The new counties of Telemark and Vestfold were re-established on 1 January 2024."

Troms og Finnmark "On 15 June 2022, the parliament decided to split the county back into Finnmark and Troms beginning on 1 January 2024, .."

If you check Openstreetmap, where it is also split again. openstreetmap.org/relation/

unsigned, unsigned2

The proposed changes to unsigned were publicized some, but at least one person who was notified wondered why they were notified, which tells me that the notification wasn't quite right. As I said in the TFD, I didn't care because I didn't use it, but it looks to me like it was closed prematurely, so it probably didn't inform the most frequent users of it. Hi, regarding User:Anomie/previewtemplatelastmod.js, I notice that in addition to the five documented classes, it also adds the class mw-watched to the <li> tags where applicable. I have successfully utilised this with the following pair of CSS rules:

Sort name redirects

Having noted your comment, if you can point me to a more efficient way to create sortname redirects using AWB, I would be glad to take it up. I have tried to get this taken up as a bot task, but there are too many quirks with human names generating potential false positives and false negatives for that to work, so I am chained to the wheel of creating them manually. My current method takes two clicks with no additional typing, except for the small number of redirects that are later refined for ambiguous targets or fictional characters.
