Co-star vs recurring in the relative sense of Lab Rats
What is the significant distinction between a recurring character and a "co-star"? Because I am trying to understand why other characters in Lab Rats such as Trent, the President, and S-1 are allowed to be mentioned when these characters only appear in just 1 episode more than Ms, Thistle's character.
