Service award

[edit]
This editor is a
Yeoman Editor
and is entitled to display this Service Badge.

I notice you've been here a year as of the 10th and have over 3,000 edits, so you are entitled to display this service award on your user page. Cheers! Skyerise (talk) 05:50, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

(Well, technically it requires 4,000 edits, but most editors have made edits to some article or other that has since been deleted, or have made edits on sister projects, which are allowed to be counted in ones total.) Skyerise (talk) 05:55, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much! I really appreciate this. I promise, I will be more responsible to my contributions on Wikipedia. AimanAbir18plus (talk) 07:04, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A cheeseburger for you!

Speedy self-closure and deletion of RM discussion

[edit]

Regarding this edit, please note that RM discussions should remain open for at least 7 days, should be closed by uninvolved editors, and the record of those discussion should not be removed. — BarrelProof (talk) 15:55, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal withdrawn. AimanAbir18plus (talk) 15:57, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You need to familiarize yourself with the rules of WP:RM. At least one other editor expressed support, so you can't close the discussion now. You can, however, strike your old nomination statement, and write Oppose and the reason behind the oppose. Furthermore, you can propose other titles in the same discussion only. The closer will see that. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 16:10, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Stop icon Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. RM has been opened again. AimanAbir18plus (talk) 16:21, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Read my above comment please. One IP editor has expressed their support, you shouldn't close the discussion prematurely now. You can withdraw your own support now. If there isn't sufficient support in favour of move, it would not be moved. World is not ending tomorrow, have patience. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 16:25, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppetry?

[edit]

At Talk:American Communist Party (Haz Al-Din), both IPs originate in the same country that you originate from. And that country is not the USA. It is very suspicious that a fringe American topic will have so many people from a different country participating in an RM. WP:Sockpuppetry is a blockable offense. Are you sure that those IPs are not you? Because if a formal investigation is started and you are found to be involved in sockpuppetry, both you and your IP range will be blocked. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 16:35, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It's not me. Maybe a friend of mine whom I shared the article to read. AimanAbir18plus (talk) 16:37, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I take your word for it for this one time. But, if in the future, there is any suspicion of sockpuppetry from your side, I will launch a formal investigation at WP:SPI. So, make sure to always stay away from sockpuppetry. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 16:47, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Meatpuppetry is also disruptive to the project and can result in a block. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 03:02, 29 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
