Speedy deletion nomination of Alexander Lindemann
[edit]Hello Advokat2024,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Alexander Lindemann for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want Alexander Lindemann to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

- Hello @InterstellarGamer12321, the page content has been deleted in seconds after your intervention so I was effectively not able to contest or ask anything.
- Could you explain what was so wrong and how a valid redirect would look like? Thanks. Advokat2024 (talk) 19:27, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Advokat2024: redirects are not allowed to redirect from the main namespace (where finished articles are) to draftspace, where the target of your redirect was pointing towards. Redirects which do this are eligible for speedy deletion per the WP:R2 tag, which is why it was deleted quickly. To make a valid redirect, first wait for the draft to be accepted and moved to mainspace by a WP:AFC reviewer. Then make whatever redirects are necessary. - This is useful, thank you. Advokat2024 (talk) 19:08, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
