Assalamualaikum, I am Syazwi Irfan, I am a Hanafi Muslim.
I am Bruneian-Malaysian-Indonesian, as I am mainly Kedayan, Lun Bawang and Murut. These ethnicities are usually from Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia.
I was at first a Atheist, learning to pray in Islam but also attending Church. However when I became older, I became an official Sunni Shafi'i Muslim, but later, I was inspired by Judaism at the time, forming the Iviriti Muslims. But when I researched about Malaysian Jews and other things, I was questioning my faith and so in 11th May 2025, I converted to Judaism, 17 days later, I reverted to Islam.
Life
[edit]I was born in Brunei as a Muslim, my mother was a de facto Christian (de jure Muslim) and my father was Muslim. My family was poor at that time and we had to live at one of our cousin's house for shelter and money, however in 2017, we bought an average sized house.
I was initially interested in video games such as Mortal Kombat, Shadow Fight 2, Mario and more. But in 2020, I was slowly became interested in Islam and History
Until 2025 in May where I left it by converting to Judaism due to some questionable verses that I had found in the Qur'an. I was also at first, a Modern Orthodox Jew but later switch to Rabbinic Judaism.
Influenced by the Ottoman Empire and feeling pressured, I reverted to Islam however I changed my madhhab to Hanafi school instead of Shafi'i school.
