I became a Wikipedia editor in 2016.[1] I am still relatively new to editing. When I first started editing in 2016, I was an assistant professor in the School of Art at Arizona State University. Now, in 2025, I am an associate professor in the School of Visual Arts at Virginia Tech.

I am interested in working on articles about women artists. I am hosting an Art+Feminism edit-a-thon at Virginia Tech in March 2025. In the past I hosted Art + Feminism edit-a-thons four times at Arizona State University, in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. We have hosted the event in both Hayden Library and the Design and the Arts Library on ASU's Tempe Campus. Noted Phoenix Art critic Lynn Trimble[2] included our edit-a-thon within her Best Things to Do in Phoenix list a few times.[3]

This is a note to myself, when I host the 2026 Art + Feminism edit-a-thon, I should make a page for film critic and curator Bérénice Reynaud (taught at CalArts for many years and focused on Agnes Varda among others).

I also co-organized the Nasty Women show in Phoenix, AZ in January 2017.[4]

I am on the events and exhibitions committee for the New Media Caucus.[5]

I love cats.
